Orbeex is built in the open. The full source is public, the license is permissive, and the reasoning behind decisions is documented.

Permissive and enterprise-friendly, with an explicit patent grant. Documentation is CC-BY-4.0.
Trunk-based development
main is always releasable. Work happens on short-lived branches and lands through review.
Traceable changes
Requirements, feature specs, changelog fragments, and docs are reconciled automatically.
Open governance
Contributions are signed off under the Developer Certificate of Origin and follow a published governance model.
Portability
No lock-in, by design
Because documentation is plain Markdown and the engine is independent of any single AI provider, Orbeex can be adopted, self-hosted, and extended without depending on one vendor.
